PLL is a world unto itself and I was honored to be invited to glimpse its wilderness, if only for a short time. It was a glossy, stylish, high-stakes soap opera of the highest order, with a wry, moody, self-serious camp overtone which made it irresistibly fun to be a part of. The characters and the clothes were sparkly and dangerous, sharp-edged and ominous. I worked as the Truck Costumer - managing and cataloguing the countless daily costume changes, as well as prepping for the days, and weeks ahead for both the pilot and the 10 episode series. It was an amazing ride.

The cast and the creatives were consummate professionals and cunning coconspirators for the (sadly) short run of the single season. We created a rare on-set work environment which felt both warm and familial, as well as splashy and exuberant. I would have signed on for 20 seasons if the fates had been on our side!
